Sunset, 24x24
Details: Subtle and meditative, Sunset invites the viewer to linger in the quiet interplay of shape, color, and atmosphere. A cool grayish blue sets the tone for this abstract composition, where soft, organically shaped circles form a loose grid—an ongoing motif in my work inspired by a love of rhythm and pattern. Most of the circles gently fade into the background, their slightly darker hue barely distinguishable, creating a sense of stillness and cohesion.
Anchoring the piece is a single glowing circle in a luminous orange-yellow, positioned just off-center in the lower right. It evokes the warmth and beauty of the sun slipping below the horizon—a gentle focal point in an otherwise tranquil landscape.
